hi, I'm Iona

A certified Health and Wellness Coach registered with the United Kingdom and International Health Coaches Association (UKIHCA).

I am passionate about empowering busy, exhausted women to reclaim their energy and learn to navigate their health and lifestyle in their 30s, 40s, and 50s and feel fantastic, because I realise how much I tolerated, under the misconception I was 'healthy';

  • Working to the point of burnout and poor mental health

  • Not prioritising self-care, and thinking it was normal to spend a weekend in bed to get over a busy work week

  • People pleasing tendencies that pushed me outside of my values and priorities to a person I no longer recognised

  • Stress disrupting my sleep, so topping up with caffeine and sugar was the only thing to me through the day

  • Eating 'healthy' food, but not enough of it leaving me nutrient deficient and too skinny

  • Equally, gaining an unhealthy amount of weight, leaving me with confidence issues

  • Dismissing debilitating periods as a normal part of life for women, even when it meant missing work or social occasions

Over the last few years, I have focussed on my health and wellbeing. I am no longer willing to tolerate feeling like crap! It's still a journey - particularly as perimenopause kicks in. But I have noticed the difference consistency makes when it comes to healthy habits.

  • I exercise daily - helped by the fact my dogs demand walking come rain or shine, so there's no excuse!

  • I understand how to create balanced meals I love - helped by the Zoe nutrition programme, which was eye opening (I still eat pizza and crisps)

  • I drink less - because I hate dealing with poor sleep and it makes my perimenopause symptoms worse (I still enjoy a G&T or two at the weekend)

  • I am in tune with my body and know when I'm pushing myself too hard, when I need to prioritise self-care, or say no to others

  • I am generally more organised with my time, so I can prioritise healthy habits, such as meal planning

  • I surround myself with like-minded people who also prioritise their health and wellbeing - this makes such a difference!

What are you no longer willing to tolerate?

I would love to explore this with you and help you start to create healthy habits that move you towards optimum health and happiness. This journey isn't about being perfect, it's about creating a lifestyle you love. Take the first step, and schedule a free 30-minute health review with me today.

why I chose the Triskelion

The Triskelion is an ancient symbol featuring three interlocking spirals with no obvious start or end point. Each spiral represents a core aspect of wellbeing: mind, body, and spirit. No element is more important than the other; they exist in harmony, highlighting the importance of balance in optimal health and wellbeing.

It also embodies movement and progress; the ability to overcome adversity and move forward, mirroring the dynamic journey of personal health transformation.
